Industrial Chicken Manure Production Line: Complete Solution for Fertilizer Plants

Setting up a commercial chicken manure production line is the most profitable way to recycle raw poultry waste into high-grade organic fertilizer pellets.Transforming raw poultry waste into high-grade commercial fertilizer requires an efficient, fully automated processing system. Fresh chicken manure is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and essential organic matter, making it an extraordinary raw material for organic fertilizer production. However, its high moisture content, sticky consistency, heavy odor, and presence of pathogens make direct soil application impossible.

Establishing a modern chicken manure production line provides a sustainable and highly profitable method to process poultry waste into market-ready organic fertilizer pellets. Our engineering solutions integrate advanced dewatering, rapid aerobic fermentation, pulverization, high-density granulation, drying, cooling, and automated packaging into a single streamlined system.

Why Invest in a Commercial Chicken Manure Production Line?

With strict environmental regulations and growing demand for sustainable agriculture, poultry farms and fertilizer manufacturers face increasing pressure to manage livestock waste properly. Building a dedicated chicken manure production line offers numerous strategic benefits:

  • High Profit Margin & Waste Recycling: Converts low-cost or negative-cost poultry manure into premium commercial fertilizer pellets sold to commercial farms and distributor networks.

  • Effective Pathogen & Weed Seed Elimination: High-temperature aerobic composting kills harmful bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella) and weed seeds, ensuring safe crop application.

  • Odor & Emission Control: Closed-loop fermentation systems and bio-filter technology eliminate offensive odors and ammonia gas emissions.

  • Flexible Capacity Options: Production capacities can be fully customized from 1 ton per hour to 20 tons per hour to match your facility requirements.

Core Process Stages of a Chicken Manure Production Line

A complete chicken manure production line consists of five key manufacturing stages, each designed with heavy-duty industrial machinery to ensure reliable continuous operation.

Stage 1: Solid-Liquid Separation & Dewatering

Fresh chicken manure usually contains 70% to 80% moisture. To prepare the material for aerobic composting, it must first pass through a screw press solid-liquid separator. This equipment reduces the moisture content down to 50%–60%, which is the optimal humidity level for microbial activity during fermentation.

Stage 2: Aerobic Fermentation & Moisture Regulation

In this stage, the dewatered manure is mixed with carbon-rich bulking agents (such as sawdust, rice husk, or straw) and microbial inoculants. Using our specialized Crawler Compost Turner or Double-Wheel Hydraulic Turner, the pile temperature quickly reaches 60°C–70°C. Regular turning supplies ample oxygen, accelerates decomposition, and completes the composting process in just 7 to 10 days.

Stage 3: High-Moisture Crushing & Batching

After composting, the fermented organic material forms consolidated clumps and crusts. A semi-wet material crusher pulverizes these clumps into fine organic powder. Trace elements, NPK nutrients, or humic acid can then be added using an automated batching system to create custom fertilizer formulations.

Stage 4: Wet Granulation & Pelleting

The uniform powder is fed into a specialized organic fertilizer granulator (such as a disc granulator, new-type wet granulator, or double-roller press granulator). The machine rolls and shapes the organic powder into durable, spherical granules with high strength and uniform appearance.

Stage 5: Rotary Drying, Cooling & Screening

Freshly formed fertilizer pellets contain surface moisture and need drying. A rotary drum dryer removes excess moisture, followed by a rotary cooler that quickly lowers granule temperature to prevent clumping during storage. A rotary screening machine then separates oversized and undersized particles, returning them to the crusher while sending perfect granules to the final stage.

Stage 6: Automated Packaging & Bagging

Finished organic fertilizer granules are automatically weighed, bagged, and sealed using an automated packing machine (handling 25kg, 50kg, or jumbo bags), ready for commercial distribution.
